Attendees will gain an understanding from the standpoint of an asset and the many “touches” it will receive throughout its service which may span decades or even longer. Quality design starts with accurate existing conditions mapping relying on high-precision as-built documentation, post-installation Operational management of those assets directly benefit from precise navigation and pinpointing the exact position of other closely located features, design, and installation of new assets in or in close-proximity to other assets, eventual abandonment in-place or removal presenting potential for damages or even loss of life. We will establish a connection between the many different groups that interact with an Asset and attendees will have a deeper appreciation of their role as well as role that interact prior or post installation of an asset.
